Khetwadi Cha Raja, Khambata Lane, 40ft tall idol
Around 20 to 22 lakh devotees visit the pandal every year to see the tallest idol in Maharashtra.
The whopping 43-feet Ganpati idol, towering over the bylanes of Khetwadi, is in the avatar of Lord Indra holding a "vajra", the weapon held by the rain god, in one hand.
The origin of the Khetwadi Ganpati, also known as "Mumbaicha Maharaja", dates back to 1962 and over the years, the mandal has endeavoured to have the most unique idol on display.

Mandal has become known for its majestic idols, which have reached heights of 28 to 40 feet, each year showcasing a unique and artistic avatar of Lord Ganesha.
The most remarkable of them all was the 40-foot Parshuram Avtar in the year 2000, which drew massive crowds and left a lasting impression. Known for its stunning decoration and spiritual atmosphere, this pandal continues to be a must-visit during Ganesh Chaturthi.
